This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining ours and our clients’ organization's information security policies, procedures, and programs. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity best practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and programs to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's data and systems.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability tests to identify potential security breaches and recommend solutions.
- Monitor network and system activity to detect and respond to security threats, including viruses, security breaches, and unauthorized access attempts.
- Coordinate and conduct employee training on information security policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Evaluate and make recommendations on technical security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
- Stay current on industry trends and developments in information security and integrate them into our organization's security strategy.
- Conduct research and make recommendations for new security technologies and products that will enhance our organization's overall security posture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in information security, preferably in a similar role.
- Knowledge of risk assessment, threat analysis, vulnerability management, and industry best practices for information security.
- Experience with intrusion detection and prevention, incident response, and security event management.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, networking, and systems administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), preferred.
- CMMC and NIFT Certifications highly preferred
