Carpentry Helper
Job Description
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Employment Type: Full-time, Temp or Temp to Hire
- Compensation: Based on experience; opportunity for growth- laborers start at $18/HR, additional skills/experience start higher.
- Assist carpenters and crew members with a variety of tasks on residential construction projects
- Handle, load, and unload materials and tools
- Perform general labor tasks such as site cleanup, demolition, framing support, measuring, cutting, and assembly work
- Operate basic hand and power tools
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Support a team environment and be willing to learn new skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for long periods
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Dependable and punctual
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Experience in carpentry, construction, or related fields is a plus, but not required
- Must be legally authorized to work and have reliable transportation
- Consistent full-time work
