Custodian
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Temporary Custodian to join our client's facility and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during a staff leave. This is a full-time, temporary role ideal for someone with prior custodial experience who takes pride in their work. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6am-2pm position, anticipated to last 4-6 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:

General cleaning of buildings, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting

Emptying trash and recycling receptacles

Cleaning and restocking restrooms

Setting up or taking down furniture and equipment for events as needed

Ensuring cleaning supplies are stocked and notifying supervisor of any needs

Reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly

Following all health and safety protocols
Requirements:

Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred

Ability to work independently and efficiently

Reliable transportation to and from the worksite

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
