Deposit Operations Representative
Job Description
Key Job Requirements:Â
Verifies and balances the daily ATM depository report for several Credit Union terminals including reconciling cash and checks received, initiating proper account adjustments and provides timely notifications to members.
Initiates ATM networks corrections, provides network appropriate transaction information and provides follow-up to ensure adjustments are received. Maintains the ATM network database; adds new member files and makes changes as necessary to existing records. Generates daily ATM reports.
Posts teller transaction requests received from members via the daily mail including deposits, loan payments and transfers.
Responds to a variety of member requests. Completes various research requests including statement copies.
Opens, date stamps and sorts incoming mail and prepares for distribution. Handles all incoming IRA filing.
Responsible for processing transactions for incoming wire transfers (domestic and foreign).
Provides timely and accurate response to verifications of deposit.
Assist with processing of charge off checking account payments.
Process Cash Items consisting of debiting members accounts, reversing loan payments, charging member account returned item fee, and sending member’s notification of extended holds.
Promotes the Credit Union wherever and whenever possible. Encouraged to actively represent the Credit Union in local civic, community and professional organizations.

Position Requirements:
- High School diploma or its equivalent.
- Six plus months of related experience.
- Must be detail oriented and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.Â
- Able to use various types of office software, spreadsheet applications and PC proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
