Housekeeping – Manufacturing Facility (Temporary)
Full-Time | Mon–Fri, 7 AM–3 PM | 12-Week Assignment | Pittsfield, MA

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to support a local plastics manufacturing facility on a temporary basis (approx. 12 weeks). This role is essential to ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment across production areas, offices, restrooms, and shared spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine housekeeping tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and waste removal.

• Clean and restock restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas.

• Maintain production-area cleanliness in line with facility safety standards.

• Properly dispose of trash, recyclables, and light industrial waste.

• Operate floor care equipment such as scrubbers and vacuums.

• Monitor and restock cleaning and restroom supplies.

• Complete daily cleaning checklists; promptly report maintenance or safety issues.

• Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Assist occasionally in specialized or controlled areas, following gowning and procedural requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous housekeeping, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience helpful.

• Strong attention to detail with ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (noise, dust, moving equipment).

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.

• Flexibility for occasional evening, weekend, or overtime work if production requires.
