Maintenance Mechanic –1st Shift- Great Barrington
$22–$24/hr | Full-Time | Sign-On Bonus Available
Monthly attendance bonus • Overtime required

Our client, a well-established specialty paper manufacturer with a strong financial foundation and a collaborative team-oriented culture, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for their 1st shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and facility systems (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing)

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and inspections

• Operate machine tools (lathe, drill press, grinder, welding, brazing)

• Maintain production, finishing, and material handling equipment

• Perform general plant maintenance (building upkeep, painting, snow removal, etc.)

• Keep records of repairs, maintenance plans, and parts inventory

• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements:

• Experience in industrial or plant maintenance

• Ability to read layouts, blueprints, and manufacturer specs

• Basic vehicle and forklift maintenance knowledge

• Must provide and maintain your own tools

• Valid driver’s license required

• Availability for overtime, including weekends
