Printer Apprentice
Job Description
Our client is seeking a motivated Printer Apprentice interested in building a long-term career in the printing industry. This hands-on position offers paid training with the opportunity to grow into a skilled Rotogravure Printer role. This is a temp to hire, overnight role.Â
PAY RANGE:
$25.00 – $26.00 per hour (includes $3.00/hr shift differential)
HOURS:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Depending on production needs, schedules may occasionally shift to a Monday–Thursday rotation or reduced weekly hours. Scheduling expectations can be discussed during the interview process.
LOCATION:
Pittsfield, MA – reliable transportation required
Conveniently located near Lee, MA; Westfield, MA; Troy, NY; and Albany, NY.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on ability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds
- Ability to distinguish colors and learn color theory
- Comfortable working on large industrial printing presses
- Manufacturing, trade, or printing experience preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with setup and operation of Rotogravure printing presses
- Participate in hands-on training and skill development
- Support press operators during production runs
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Learn color development and printing processes
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines
