Job Description
Senior Accountant – Manufacturing Environment | Pittsfield, MA
Pay: $65,000 – $85,000 per year (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, on-site
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Our client, a privately held injection molding manufacturer is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its growing financial team. This is a hands-on position reporting directly to the Controller and offers the opportunity to advance into a Manager of Accounting role as soon as 2026 for the right individual.
What You’ll Do

Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting functions, including reconciliations and report preparation

Manage Accounts Payable weekly and coordinate/review financial statements and supporting documentation

Analyze and communicate financial transactions and results to management

Support process improvement and ensure accuracy across the company’s financial operations

Work closely with leadership in maintaining compliance and driving efficiency
What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required

Minimum 2+ years of professional accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into a leadership role
