Staff Accountant
Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The position will report to the Controller and will be an integral part of the financial department. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of successful accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment; specifically, in analyzing and communicating financial results to management.Â
Candidates must be knowledgeable in performing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, performing reconciliations, preparing Accounts Payable weekly, and coordination/review of financial reports/backup as requested. The successful candidate must be hands-on and self-motivated; The Company’s responsibility will be to provide the successful candidate intensive on the job training.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a 2 or 4-year business, accounting, or finance degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of prior business experience is preferred. We will review recent college graduates for the right candidate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient computer skills to handle the Company’s accounting software and databases
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, project management, and communication skills.
